About Us

Our Mission

Valley Consulting Group (VCG) is a UC Berkeley student-run not-for-profit management consulting firm that works with companies to provide strategic solutions to vital business challenges faced by its clients.

Each project cycle, our teams take on a new slate of strategy consulting engagements with industry-leading companies. VCG was the first UC Berkeley consultancy specialized to the tech industry, and though our clients have historically been in tech, we have also engaged in projects for entertainment companies, fashion brands, and more. A few recent clients include Spotify, Google, Microsoft, Airbnb, Reddit, Snap Inc, the New York Times, Tonal, YouTube, and Square.

Our Family

VCG seeks out personable members who want a tight-knit social experience that lasts through undergrad and beyond. Our small size allows us to learn, grow and have fun together as a family. While we do host socials every week, the vast majority of our meetups are spontaneous and casual hangouts. Whether it's hikes up the Big C, bar hopping around SF, basketball at the RSF, beachside retreats, road trips to LA, rock climbing, or camping, we prioritize an unforgettable bonding experience for our members.

VCG members have leveraged the skills and knowledge gained during their time here to excel at institutions such as Google, Facebook, Amazon, TikTok, McKinsey, Robinhood, Goldman Sachs, and the U.S. Department of Defense, among others.

VCG prides itself on an extremely active alumni network in which members continue to give back to VCG long after they graduate. Our alumni regularly interact with current members, providing valuable mentorship opportunities, leading workshops, and offering introductions to their own networks.
